Mobil Doktor is Patient Tracking Software that was especially designed to meet physicians' needs.

Mobil Doktor provides capabilities of viewing, updating and adding patients' data at any time and place.

Mobil Doktor Patient Tracking Software works with mobile devices, such as PALM and POCKET PC (PDA). As mobile technology advances, it provides us with ease and efficiency of data managing. Mobil Doktor Installation Guide

1. Prior to installation of software you have to register it on www.mobildoktor.com web site. To do it, fill “MobilDoktor” / “Mobil Doktor Registration Form”.
   
   
2. Insert Installation CD coming with your PDA device into PC CD-ROM.

   a) Follow the installation steps and install Palm Desktop on your computer. Alternatively, you may install Palm Desktop directly from Mobil Doktor Installation CD.
   
   b) During the installation process you would be asked to provide username and connection port (either USB or Serial). Username would be later used for synchronization. After you successfully installed Palm Desktop, you may proceed with Mobil Doktor Installation.

3. Insert Mobil Doktor Installation CD into PC CD-ROM. Installation process starts automatically, provided that your PC configuration supports this feature. If it does not, browse CD and double-click "MDInstaller.exe".

   a) Press "Mobil Doktor PC/PDA" button to start the installation. Follow installation steps to complete process.
   
   b) Press "Universal Conduit" button to upload configuration files necessary for Synchronization **.

4. By using connection cable coming with your PDA device, connect it to PC through either USB or serial port.
   
   
5. From Windows Start Menu run "Mobil Doktor v3.0" / "Mobil Doktor PDA Install".

   a) Install Tool screen should appear. Select username you provided while installing Palm Desktop and press "Done" button. Now, all files necessary for installation on PDA are copied to your PC.
   
   b) On your PDA device press "Hotsync" icon to start synchronization process. Upon successful completion of this step, all necessary files to run Mobil Doktor would be transferred to PDA device.
   

6. From Windows Start Menu run "Mobil Doktor v3.0" / "Mobil Doktor PC". Program will prompt you for License Key ***. Please, contact Sorbil to acquire the key. Enter acquired key into required textbox and press "Register" button.
   
   
7. From the main menu of the opened program, select "Synchronization" / "Create ODBC DSN". Press "OK" on prompt screen. (Normally MD**.mdb database comes automatically selected on prompt screen. If it does not select it from directory you installed Mobil Doktor to).
   
   
8. On your PDA device click Mobil Doktor icon to run program. It will prompt you for License Key ***. Please, contact Sorbil to acquire the key. Enter acquired key into required textbox and press "Register" button.
   
   
9. From the main menu of PC version, select "Synchronization" / "Save Conduit". Thus, all necessary data for synchronization would be saved.
   
   
10. Press "Hotsync" button on your PDA device for the second time and wait until synchronization process is completed.

Now, all necessary steps have been undertaken and you may start using Mobil Doktor software.

What is License Key ***?

Both for PC and PDA versions of Mobil Doktor require activation keys (called License Keys). You are required to contact Sorbil for License Key acquisition. (Tel: 0212 274 86 89)

What is Synchronization ** and how it is performed?

Synchronization process performs mutual data update between PC and PDA device. For example, you may insert/edit/delete data from your PC version of Mobil Doktor. Afterwards, by running synchronization process, you would be able to access this very same data on your PDA device as well. By the same token, data updates you perform on your PDA device may be accessed, after synchronization, from your PC. It is up to user, whether to hold all data on PDA, but as general recommendation it is advised to transfer data to PC (by synchronizing) for consecutive backup operations.
